As a matter of principle, we only process our visitors' personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a (consent), lit. b (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) and lit. f (legitimate interest) DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When the website is accessed, Netlify automatically records server log data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 4. Contact form and getting in touch
If you contact us via the contact form, by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (name, company if applicable, email address, phone number if applicable, address of your existing website if applicable, content of the message) in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Data submitted via the contact form is processed and stored via Netlify Forms. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for handling your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. WhatsApp
If you contact us via WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies. Please note that when you use WhatsApp, data (e.g. your phone number) is transferred to WhatsApp or Meta. Using this channel is voluntary – alternatively, you can reach us by email or via the contact form.
6. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our web server. When you access the site, no connection is made to servers of Google or other font providers; no data is transferred to third parties as a result.
7. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set any cookies, does not use any analytics or marketing services and does not load any content from external servers. A cookie notice is therefore not required.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing (Art. 21) and the right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
