01Expectations

What buyers expect

  • familiar payment methods
  • clear shipping costs
  • fast pages
  • real product photos

Nobody buys online from a shop they don't trust. Trust comes from small things: well-known payment methods, honest delivery times, reviews, a legal notice you can find. If one of them is missing, the purchase is abandoned at the checkout.

Teehandlung Ohlsen Sample shop

Online shop · tea

An online shop for a tea merchant with many varieties. The range stands in compartments on shelves, and every tea has its shelf label with pack price and price per 100 grams. Drawers filter by type of tea, and a switch shows only caffeine-free varieties. On the product page a dial scale weighs out the chosen amount and the tea timer counts down the brewing time. The bag shows how much is missing for free delivery, and the checkout sums everything up as a receipt.

Online shop · manufacture

An online shop for a small manufacture with just a few models. Every page is a drawing sheet with grid, dimension lines and title block, and the watches are drawn and show the real time. As you scroll, an exploded view moves apart into seven parts. In the configurator the watch is assembled from case, dial, hands and strap, the parts list updates as you go, and the engraving appears on the case back. The basket is called the order.

Care for shops

A shop is alive: new products, promotions, updates to payment and shipping connections. In the first year the Shop plan is included – with 240 minutes of care a month and a checkout tested every month. After that you choose a plan from €29 a month; for shops we recommend the Shop plan for €149.

05Questions

Questions from your industry

Which shop system do you use?

That depends on your range and processes. After the first conversation we recommend the system you will find easiest to work with day to day – and explain what it costs on an ongoing basis.

Can I add products myself?

Yes. After a short introduction you can manage orders and products yourself without any trouble. When it needs to be quick, we take care of it as part of your care plan.

What does an online shop cost?

From €2,000, one-off. We give you the exact price after the first conversation – you only pay once you're satisfied.

Does my online shop have to be accessible?

Since June 2025 the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies to many shops that sell to consumers; micro-enterprises are exempt for services. We build shops from the start with sufficient contrast, keyboard operation and labelled forms. What the law requires is explained in our accessibility guide. Whether it applies to your shop is a legal question you should have checked.

How can we help you?

Write to us – we will get back to you within 24 hours with an honest assessment.
