01Questions
Frequently asked questions
How can that work – you build the website before I pay?
Quite simply: we believe in our work. After the first conversation we build your website completely and show it to you as a demo. If you like it, we fine-tune it together and you only pay once everything is right. If you don't like it, that's it – no cost, no obligation. Our risk, not yours.
What happens if I'm not happy with the demo?
Then you tell us what bothers you and we adjust – text, colours, layout, images, as often as needed. Should we still not come together, we part ways without an invoice. That rarely happens, but the option is part of our promise.
What does a website cost with you?
Websites start at €990, online shops at €2,000, each as a one-off payment. A lean one-page site costs considerably less than a company website with many subpages or an online shop. After the free first conversation you get a clear, binding price.
What does it cost after the first year?
In the first year, hosting and care are included. After that, you decide: with no base fee you only pay for changes by time (€70 per hour). Or you choose a care plan – Basic for €29 with 30 minutes of changes, Care for €59, Care Plus for €89 or Shop for €149 a month. All plans can be cancelled monthly. You register the domain in your own name, which usually costs only a few euros a year; we connect it to your website.
Who owns the website – and what if I want to leave?
The website belongs to you. If you want to leave, we hand the site over with all its files and help you move to a new provider. You don't start from scratch.
How quickly will my website be ready?
The first finished demo version is ready within 48 hours of the first conversation. How quickly the site then goes live depends on the fine-tuning – often the whole project is completed within one to two weeks.
Can I change my website myself later?
We are happy to take care of smaller changes such as new opening hours, text or images – usually the same day. If you prefer, we can also set up your site so that you can maintain certain content yourself. You decide what is more convenient for you.
What do you need from me to get started?
Surprisingly little: your logo (if you have one), some information about your services and ideally a few photos. Everything else – text, structure, design – we can take care of. Many of our clients invest less than two hours of their own time in the project overall.
Do you build online shops too?
Yes, from €2,000. We set up your shop completely – including product pages, payment methods such as PayPal, credit card and Klarna, and shipping options. We place legal texts such as terms and conditions and the cancellation policy in the right spots; the texts themselves come from a specialist provider or a legally qualified person. After a short introduction you can manage orders and products yourself without any trouble.
Do you only work in Berlin?
No. We are based in Berlin and work across Germany. In Berlin we are happy to come to your premises for an appointment. Outside Berlin, the conversation, coordination and handover take place by phone, WhatsApp, email or video – without you having to travel anywhere.
02Behind the scenes
How your website comes together
Our “satisfied first, then pay” model raises fair questions. Here is the process, day by day.
- Day 0
First conversation & briefing
We talk about your business, your customers and your goals – in Berlin at your premises if you like, otherwise by phone or video. You send us your logo, photos and information – or we work with what is publicly available.
- Day 1
Concept & design
We define the structure, colours and layout and start on the design, drawing on what demonstrably works in your industry.
- Day 2
Build & demo
Your website is built in full – with all text, images and features. You receive a link to the finished demo and can look through everything at your leisure.
- Week 1–2
Fine-tuning together
You give feedback, we implement it. We repeat this loop until you say: “Exactly like that.” Only then do we talk about the invoice.
- Go-live
Publication & handover
Your website goes live on your domain, and hosting runs with us. You receive all access details and know exactly whom to contact with questions.
- After that
Support when you need it
New opening hours, a new team photo, an extra subpage? A short message is enough – we take care of it. Included in the first year, after that in the plan that suits your site.
